Foodie destination with an amazing menu is looking to hire a permanent Head Chef. Your cooking needs to be pretty special and your management skills second to none.
You will be managing the kitchen, and team, whilst turning out great food for discerning guests.
It goes without saying that you’ll have responsibility for stock, hygiene, profits and margins.
You’ll be working 5 days a week out of 7 and it will be split shifts.
You should be an enthusiastic, creative, commercially focused and motivational leader with a healthy lifestyle, calm personality and a stable work history.
Managing and developing a team should come as second nature to you and you should also be a real team player. You’ll be responsible for 3 Chefs and 2 KPs and will be catering for up to 120 covers.
The salary is negotiable depending on the person, their experience, ability and reputation. It ranges between £30,000 and £45,000 per year. Usual benefits (pension, holidays etc) also apply and there is live in available if required. Looking to the future, the owners are thinking about introducing profit shares.
