
Furniture Sales Consultant
Job Description
Leading local furniture retailer are looking to welcome a Sales Consultant to their team. This is a great opportunity for a proactive sales person who can demonstrate success in their career. You will be consulting with customers to identify their needs, helping them choose the most appropriate furnishings to suit their style and budget and ensuring their expectations are exceeded. In addition to sales acumen, you should be a focused individual who welcomes a challenge. It goes without saying that you should be a great communicator and someone who is confident.
About you
- Previous experience in retail (proactive selling)
- Knowledge of home furnishings
- Highly motivated
- An eye for detail
- Good listening skills
- Exceptional people skills
- Can “close the deal”

- Confident and ambitious
- Able to work weekends (you’ll get 2 days off per week)
Salary and benefits
- Basic Salary: £9.00 – £10.00 per hour plus overtime and individual commission on all sales
- Permanent job – direct with the employer
